Guinness World Record Attempt on Sunday February 8, 2015

WE DID IT!!

847 SLEDS

We officially broke the Guinness World Record for the largest number of snowmobiles in a parade. Unfortunately the Whitecourt Trailblazers in Alberta was recently awarded the record for their attempt that followed ours. You can view the official award status by clicking on the link for the Guinness Book of World Records.

Our club challenge to see which OFSC club would have the largest group of riders was fantastic. All clubs in District 5 were represented, and prizes were awarded at the summer District meeting. The numbers were so tight for 3rd place that we decided to award the 3rd place prize to three clubs! Congratulations to all 5 clubs.
  • $500 for 1st place went to the Pineridge Snowmobile Club who had 128 riders participate! Well done!
  • $300 for 2nd place went to the Ellice Swampers Snowmobile club with 65 riders.
  • $200 for 3rd place went to the Strathroy SnoBlizzards, the Thamesford Snowmobile Club, and to the B&W Trailblazers in neighbouring District 9.

Special thanks to:

All the riders who participated
